When my firstborn arrived, I didn’t have a plan for photos. I panicked, booked what I could, and hoped for the best.
With my second, I went the studio route. Baby all wrapped up, no little fingers or toes, posed-in-a-bucket-photos I am grateful to have but don’t reflect who we are.
I hear it all the time from second-time parents: “I wish we’d done this with our first.”
So many of us wait until we feel ‘ready’, or think we’ll get around to it later. Then the baby is here. The toddler grows taller. The moments pass quietly and quickly.
