Hi, I’m Erin | SUNSHINE COAST FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER

I know the feeling of looking back and wishing it felt different

With my firstborn, I panic-booked a newborn session at the last minute. With my second, I tried a more traditional studio photoshoot. Both gave me family photos, but none reflect who we really were in that season. They don’t feel like us.

That’s why I work as a family photographer the way I do now - calm, child and baby-led sessions that feel natural and personal, so you can look back and see yourselves in every frame.

Parents often tell me they thought they would get around to it later… and then later never came. Or they booked a family photography session that looked beautiful on paper but didn’t feel like their family in the photos.

That’s why I guide you through a simple, calm process designed to capture the truth of your story. So when you look back, you’ll see yourselves in the frame, not a version of someone else.

FAMILY Photography shaped by motherhood

Motherhood has shaped every part of me, and it’s at the heart of my photography too.

As a wife and mum of two, I know the blur of sleepless nights, the chaos of little feet, and the way you can long to be seen in the middle of it all.

Outside of my work as a Sunshine Coast family photographer, I’m a traveller, a book lover, a beach walker and a sunshine enthusiast. At my core, I’m sentimental. I believe these years deserve to be remembered not in staged poses, but in honest, heartfelt images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

It’s not about posed
perfection. It’s about presence

In most families, mums are the ones behind the camera, making sure everyone else is remembered. But rarely in the frame themselves. I believe that needs to change.

My family photography sessions are built around connection, not performance. I’ll guide you gently so you never feel awkward or unsure, but what I’m really chasing is the way your toddler wraps their arms around you, or the softness in your baby’s breathing as they rest against your chest. Honest, unpolished, deeply personal moments… the ones you’ll want to remember most.

Experience you can feel at ease with

With years of photographing newborns, families and mothers, I’ve learnt that the best sessions aren’t about rushing or posing - they’re about trust. From the moment you enquire, I’ll guide you through every detail so you feel confident and cared for. My role is to hold space for your family and create images you’ll want to return to for years to come.

I’d be honoured to tell your story

Every family has a story worth remembering. And I’d be honoured to help you hold onto yours. If you’re ready for photos that feel natural, thoughtful and deeply personal, I’d be so grateful to be the one behind the camera.
